ORDERING INFORMATION

Ordering your unique horsehair, pet fur or cremation ash jewellery could not be simpler.

For RINGS, PENDANTS, EARRINGS, KEYRINGS, STOCKPINS and BROOCHES :

Please select directly from the relevant collections. You can add gemstones by selecting the plain ring or other item and then choosing your stones from the Gemstones collection. Or you can email me to discuss any variation in design. All my rings are made to measure, I send out a ring sizer when an order is placed for a ring to ensure accurate sizing.

For BRACELETS, CHOKERS and NECKLACES :

Either select directly from the corresponding collection and add to your basket or select items individually from the Design Your Own Collection.

1. Payment can then be made via Paypal or credit/debit card at the checkout.

2. Measure your wrist for bracelets or your neck for chokers, bangle measurements need to be precise and are best either taken from an existing bangle or by a professional jeweller local to you. I need to know the inside diameter.

3. Brush and cut the appropriate length and thickness of hair from your horses tail according to which item of jewellery you require. Band the hair at one end, and wash with a standard shampoo (no conditioner) and allow to fully air dry.

4. For cremation ash items I need half a teaspoon full for small items and a teaspoon full for bangles and cuffs.

5. Place in a bag with your name on inside an envelope and post to me at the address provided below

For custom made END CAPS, CHARMS, PENDANTS , KEYRINGS and SCULPTURES:

Simply add to basket the style that you want and email me a profile photograph to create the design from.

MINIMUM HAIR LENGTH

As long as possible is always best as it makes braiding easier.

• Bracelets require about a fingers thickness of hair 12" ( 30cm) long.

• 16 weave Spiral braid requires 30" (76cm) long for a bracelet or 60” (152cm) for a necklace.

• Unless you select wire in the braid in which case 12" for a bracelet or 24” for a necklace

• Choker necklaces require 28" (70cm).

• Necklaces require 32" (80cm) for 18" length.

• For shorter lengths of hair bangles and cuffs can be made with a short section of hair, the minimum length for this is 5”

• Rings, pendants and stock pins require 5" (13cm)

Crystal resin and inlaid items (rings, bangles, cuffs and some pendants) can be made incorporating short hairs/animal fur or cremation ashes.

Please note these are minimum lengths, the longer the better for braiding.

Please do not use expired stamps as the post office charges the recipient a minimum of £2.50 to deliver.

If your horse or pet has passed on please do NOT send all the hair you have, it is very rare but not impossible that it gets lost in the postal system so if it is irreplaceable its always best to keep some back. For anybody sending from outside the UK please mark as “temporary importation of clean horsehair for custom work value £1” or you may be charged a customs fee and it will also be likely to cause delays.
